These brushed gold brass crimp beads are essential items to have in your tool box for making DIY fashion jewelry.
What are crimp beads used for?
They are small beads used to attach the clasp of a necklace or bracelet, or to hold one or more beads in place on jewelry when you want to space them out.
For pretty finishes, we recommend using crimp covers.
How to use them?
1. Thread beads, for example, onto beading wire, then thread a crimp bead.
2. Thread a clasp.
3. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead and through the beads.
4. Crimp the crimp bead with suitable pliers sold in our shop.
5. For a perfect finish, place a crimp cover on the tip of the pliers and squeeze over the crimp bead to hide it.
