Adopt these faceted glass beads that are shaped like drops pierced lengthwise. Ideal for your jewelry designs such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings or even rings.
There drop shape of your pearl will give originality to your unique and personalized creations.
Mix them with seed beads , gemstones, sequins or even metal beads. Add pompoms, stopper beads, a pendant...anything is possible, just give free rein to your imagination.
Creating a necklace:
1. To make this necklace, you will need cable wire with a maximum diameter of 6mm; of crush beads (X4), these drop beads, stones, star charms (X10), star pendant , clasp and rings!
2. Take your cable wire, thread your two crimp beads onto it. Pass it through a ring to thread it back into your crimp beads, you should form a loop. Tighten the thread tightly, then crush your beads. Don't cut the little end! This will be put in the following beads!
3. Put on your faceted drop beads color AB, in the order you want. Accessorize them with other glass beads, natural stones such as round and light wood; thread your charms onto your montage.
4. When you reach the middle of your necklace, approximately 32 cm, hang your star pendant using a ring or a bail.
5. Then, do the same on the other side of the cable wire. When you reach the end of your assembly, slide your two crimp beads into it then into the clasp and form the loop as on the other side.
6. Tighten the wire tightly (not too much though because it must not be too rigid otherwise it will break in your jewelry box). When you feel it's good, it's time to crush your pearls with your fine flat pliers !
And there you have it, you have successfully created your creation all by yourself! Congratulations, be proud of yourself! Your DIY fancy necklace is a great success. It's up to you to create others and why not a pair of dangling earrings , a elastic bracelet !
